Design of Valves

There are 2 options for the steam and water valves:

• with rotary handles
• with joystick

There is no clear advantage in choosing one over the other option.

Some people prefer rotary handles because they look very classic.

Other users find rotary handles more cumbersome, as you have to turn them far enough to get full steam output. Joystick valves are brought to the maximum position faster.

The valves are manufactured in high quality by a company in Northern Italy that specialises in valves with decorative surfaces (chrome) and taps. For our rather small machine, a shortened version of the joystick valves was designed that harmonises very well visually.
