Depending on personal preference, the steam or hot water wand can be placed on the left or right. As standard, the valve for steam is mounted on the left and the valve for water on the right. Reasons for a different choice could be the place of installation: there is little space on the left side of the machine and so the valve that is used more often—usually the steam valve—will be placed on the right side. Or you are left-handed and use your left hand to open the valve in a controlled manner and hold the milk jug with your right hand. Then the steam wand on the right might be better off.
However, the decision made when ordering is not forever: A change is also possible afterwards, as the connections and connections of the two valves in the machine are symmetrical and can be exchanged.
