It is possible to control the power of the pump with the sensors that are installed with the optional power controller. This is done via so-called scripts with which the coffee extraction can be programmed. Either one specifies the power of the pump in % (and over what time the power is to be reached) or one specifies target values in millibars. This works both in ascending and descending order.
This gives you various options for optimally adapting a difficult coffee variety to your own taste.
The settings can be made conveniently via the web interface. The progress of the espresso brewing is even recorded and can be called up until the next brewing.
